Home/About MSLA

The McElwreath Subdivision Landowners Association represents the residents and landowners of our subdivision, located in the piney woods of Red Rock, TX. The MSLA was created when Don McElwreath subdivided his land in 1979 (read more about the history here). The MSLA’s main responsibility is the maintenance of our shared roads, using a modest HOA fee assessed to each property owner to purchase road materials, repair and grade the road. Due to our limited budget, road maintenance is mainly carried out by a dedicated group of volunteers. Please contact us if you’re interested in helping with road maintenance.

The MSLA is led by a Board of Trustees, currently made up of Ed Dupnick, Joe Dickson, Tom Hardies, Brian Wheelis, Steve Simmons, Edie Clark & Reza Pouraghabagher. We’re always looking for interested volunteers to join the Board or informally advise on road maintenance and other issues; let us know if you’re interested.
